I've been wanting to do this meme ever since I saw it 2 years ago but I only got around to doing it now. This was the first time I actually really drew on the computer. Normally I hand draw stuff and then scan and trace it. I still think that way is easier...you have more control. But I don't think I did too badly. I must say, Sai DEFINITELY trumps Photoshop when it comes to making line art. Shakey-old-man lines are a thing of the past!
I DID NOT skip any songs that iTunes threw my way but I did cheat on the timing. 1 song play is just too short of a time to do anything! I did give myself some guidelines though, just to remain sort of true to the meme. I limited myself to a max of 3 song plays: 1 play to lay down the guidelines (which I have left up because I think it's cool to see my drawing process)
and 2 more plays to lay down cleaner lines. After I layed down lines for all the songs, I layed some flat colors in there just to make it pretty.
The characters belong to
and are from an old web comic called Winter Muse
she used to write in high school. These characters were never main characters....they didn't even have names! I just called them "horns guy and the girl."
I don't even know if the girl's hair was pink because the comic was in B/W but ah well...I'm making it pink! The characters were never officially "together"
but there was 1 frame I remember where they were talking to each other and I knew it was meant to be!
I realize the look of the characters change from panel to panel. Sorry about that! I have a hard time drawing faces and replicating it exactly. Being on time constraints doesn't help either.
If anyone out there needs any explanations on why I drew what I drew for any of the panels, let me know and I'll explain it. I will say that the drawings for Songs 3, 7, and 10 all kind of tie in to each other. Like a little story of sorts!Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go

EDIT: Omg so I am looking at this drawing right now and on the right side of the page where it says "more from Jelloarms,"
the 4 thumbs that appear are old drawings I did in high school of 4 human characters from Winter Muse!
I dunno, somehow this amused me.
