Lame Tie-In to Real Life Alert

So I have this project comming along of the 6 princesses, modernized, all wearing skirts that match their character, along with those chunky belts that a few years ago, everyone and their cats went moist over.

I only finished Ariel so far. Didn't feel like adding any shading to her just yet. It will come soon enough.

I wanted to try playing around with brushes b/c it's something I've steered away from for the most part.

I decided to try and emulate rain...b/c today was really rainy and cold. I loved it though. Even with the rain in my face and the cold wind blowing everywhere, I felt really...happy. I wish Hawaii had more super cold days like this. In a lame attempt at tying Ariel into the piece, I guess you could say she represents how wonderful I felt today. It may have been dreary weather but I felt like I was in sunshine.

Oh my gosh that was the Cheesiest sounding thing ever!

Really though, the rain/cold was great. It's relaxing.
