1. So when did summer officially begin for you?

Sometime around mid-May-ish.

2. What was the first thing you did once summer began?

Nothing really. I think maybe I had a glass of water.

3. Did you work over the summer? Where at?

Aside from my regular job, I also worked at Summer Fun.

4. Did you enjoy the job?
YES! I loooove working at Summer Fun! It is the best job ever...stressful sometimes, but mostly it was awesome.

5. Where did you go on vacation this summer?
No vacation...not until summer 2012 at least, when Kris graduates.

6. How was it?
It was nonexistent.

7. How many times did you go to the beach this summer?
4. Quite surprising really...last time I went to the beach was 2007 and before that, 2005. Two of the times were for field trips though.

8. What did you do for the 4th of July?
Eh, pretty much nothing actually.

9. Describe an average summer day.
Get up, go to work, go to grandmas and take care of the dog, go home, exist, sleep, rinse, repeat.

10. Did you experience anything new this summer?
Not really. I went to a bar, that was new.

Tell me 3 random funny experiences you had this summer::

11. I don't know if this was summer or right before summer was about to start but I'll say it anyway. So Kim and I were sitting in the McDonalds playing a game that required a dictionary. The only small dictionary I had was my Spanish-English dictionary and when I randomly said a Spanish word, this Mexican family that was sitting next to us looked over and stared at us and then started talking about us in Spanish, not realizing Kim and I knew they were talking about us. We need to play again Kim!

12. At Kailua beach, my Hoomalu Street friends and I attempted to swim out to this little bird sanctuary island in the middle of the ocean...by using inner tubes! The current was against us and along the way I fell out of my inner tube and had to chase it all the way back to shore...when I finally got it back, they were far away...somehow, after 1 hour of paddling in their inner tubes, they made it!

13. So one morning before I left for work, For no reason in particular, I randomly strung a rubber band around my sister's toe while she was still sleeping. When she woke up, she was really confused as to how it got there. I thought that was pretty funny.

14. I caught a cold

15. CD drive on my computer went wacko the very day I bought the Sims 3 so I had to call Dell, and for 3 days they tried to fix it but they couldn't figure it out so they sent me a new one. I had the Sims, yet I didn't have the Sims. It was quite frustrating!

16. Over the course of the summer we found 2 large nasty ass B-52 Roaches in our house and a bunch of those flat beetles too. Ugh! I am deathly afraid of them.

17. Kareoke night with my Summer Fun co-workers...I forgot how much fun Kareoke can be...

18. Seeing friends in general really...it wasn't super often but the experiences were fun...

19. Tonight mom told me that our insurance policy has changed and it is not going to run out until I am 25 and I don't even have to be a full time student! HALLELUJAH! I have been stressing about this one...it was supposed to run out on my upcomming birthday...now I can get runned over by a bus and not have to worry about the costs!

20. So what are your plans now that summer is over?
Well my program does not start till October so...my summer isn't over yet.

21. Is there anything you wish you had done this summer that you never got around to? Clean my room thoroughly...but the summer is not over yet...I still have time.

22. Tell me about that thing over there on your dresser/shelf/nightstand. Yes that thing. It's a green spoon from Yogurtland. I thought the spoon was really cool so I kept it...but I never got around to putting it in our silverware drawer so there it lies.

21. If you could take a 1 week vacation to a fictional world from a book/movie/video game, what world would that be? How would you go about your time there?

I would go the world from the GBA Game Golden Sun. I love those characters...they are so funny...and I would just follow Garet and Issac and Jenna and all those guys on all their adventure toward saving Weyard.

22. Tell me a random memory involving one of your grandparents.
So when I was in elementary school, I used to take ballet lessons. It ended around 4:00 or so, 1 hour before dinner time. Sometimes, after ballet when grandpa would pick my sister and I up, he would take us upstairs to the snack shop and get us Icee's, even though it was almost dinner time. He told us it was a secret and we were not allowed to tell grandma. She would be pissed if she new we were having a snack right before dinner! I miss him.

23. What discontinued food product needs to make a comeback?
White Chocolate Twix!
